We were looking for a way to access our motorsportreg.com event registration information on the go and at the track. We couldn’t find anything on the market so we built it! We had two goals with the beta version of our mobile application.

1. On the Go -> Check driver registrations for each of our events via a mobile web app on our smartphones without having to log intomotorsportreg.com. It also had to work on android and iphones.

2. At the Track -> Rather than printing out tons of driver registration lists for each staff member that works the gate, we wanted them to be able to pull up all the drivers registered and be able to view basic information about the driver such as vehicle year, make, model and color. We worked closely with Motorsportreg.com to develop a new mobile application for the 2011 SCCA RunOffs at Road America. Drivers can review entries by class and car number. The mobile application also allows for viewing live timing (provided by livetiming.net), the official event schedule, event news, the live web cast and connect via Facebook and Twitter.
